Your puppy is most impressionable up until 16-18 weeks old!

It is a great time to get started teaching your puppy good habits. Our in-home puppy Puppy Grade School program is designed to help your puppy become the fun and loving family member you hoped they would be!

Our Grade School program includes four in-home private lessons. During these lessons, we will teach you:

• Management strategies for keeping your puppy safe and out of trouble
• Socialization, exposure, and habituation techniques for helping your puppy grow
• How to address unwanted behaviors
• Basic obedience commands

Program Details

For the happiest tail wags, we recommend that these four lessons take place over a two-week period. However, we are happy to accommodate your scheduling constraints:

• You schedule your own lessons using K9 Prep School’s online calendar.
• Lessons are held in the comfort and convenience of your own home.
• Each lesson lasts approximately 60 minutes.
• The price for each lesson is $60.
• Payment is due at the end of each lesson.
• Payment can be made with check or cash (credit cards or electronic payment are not currently accepted).

AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Test!

The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy test is a fun way to see how your puppy is progressing towards practical every day skills. It also provides clear training goals and is a natural lead in to the AKC® Canine Good Citizen® Program. Our head dog trainer, John Krasich, is a certified AKC S.T.A.R Puppy Evaluator and can help guide you through the skills you’ll need to pass the test.
